An awkward fact: Firstborn can be upgraded to Primaris ("Primaris-ing"), but the process is risky. Only a handful of famous heroes (Calgar, Dante) have successfully made the transition.

新手建議Newbie advice
- 買 Primaris。Buy Primaris. 所有 GW 當代 戰鬥巡邏 盒、法典 更新都以 Primaris 為主。 All modern Combat Patrol boxes and Codex updates focus on Primaris.
- 不要買二手的 原版 戰術 小隊。Avoid buying used Firstborn Tactical Squads. 除非你明確想玩 傳奇 模式，不然它們在比賽圈與俱樂部都不能用。 Unless you specifically play Legends, they\'re non-legal in most tournaments and clubs.

Q: 為什麼 GW 要搞這麼複雜？Q: Why did GW do this?
三個原因：(1) 開發新模型比重塑舊模型便宜；(2) Primaris 更貼近 小說 裡「2.5 米巨漢」的描述；(3) 新故事新人物，重新啟動整個 IP 的商業價值。Three reasons: (1) designing new kits is cheaper than redesigning old; (2) Primaris match the "2.5 m giant" described in novels more accurately; (3) new characters and storylines refresh the entire IP commercially.
Q: 我的舊 戰術 小隊 還能玩嗎？Q: Can I still play my old Tactical Squad?
在 Legends 模式下可以。休閒對戰、Crusade 戰役、俱樂部內多數允許。但比賽不允許，Codex 也不會再更新它們的規則。In Legends mode, yes — casual games, Crusade, most clubs allow it. Tournaments don\'t, and no Codex updates will come for Legends units.
